According to an article in Forbes, the following are positioned to be the next hot tech spots in the country:
- Columbus, Ohio
- Santa Fe, New Mexico
- Palm Beach County, Florida
- Houston, Texas
- Milwaukee-Waukeshaw, Wisconsin
- Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
- Boise City, Idaho
- Iowa City, Iowa
- Lake Charles, LA
- Yuma, Arizona
The findings are based on research done by Philip Auerswald, professor of public policy at George Mason University. We are not just talking about computer technology any more! The research for this study included “advanced materials, nano-crystals and quantum dots, polymers and plastics, micro-systems and cell microbiology that most experts consider today's most promising frontiers of innovation”.
